Congratulations to our Glenbrook swimmers who are competing at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in Sydney this week. A huge congratulations to Haig Buckingham who was a finalist in both the 100m (5th) and 200m (9th) Breaststroke. Our team consists of Angus, Zach, Jackson, Joshua, Rieley, Declan, Haig, Callum and Kelsey.
Australian Swimming Trials
Congratulations to Kelsey who represented Glenbrook at the recent Australian Swimming Trials held on the Gold Coast. Kelsey swam the 50m Breaststroke and competed against many well – known Australian swimmers trying to secure their spots in the Commonwealth Games team. A great effort Kelsey!
NSW Country
Well done to the 20 Glenbrook swimmers who represented our club at the NSW Country Championships. The weekend saw many Personal Bests achieved and a wonderful team spirit. Congratulations to Kelsey who participated in the NSW State Open over the weekend. Kelsey not only competed against the best swimmers in NSW but also against swimmers from around Australia and a large contingent from overseas.
